Nasir al Mulk Mosque in Shiraz IranThe Nasīr al-Mulk Mosque (Masjed-e Naseer ol Molk) is located in Goade-e-Araban place near the famous Shah Cheragh mosque. The mosque was built during the Qājār era, and was still in use under protection by Nasir al Mulk's Endowment Foundation. It was built by the order of Mirza Hasan Ali Nasir al Molk, in 1876 .It was completed in 1888. The mosque was designed by famous designers Muhammad Hasan-e-Memar and Muhammad Reza Kashi Paz-e-Shiraz.i

Colored glasses are used for this mosque, and displays other traditional elements such as panj kāseh-i (five concaves) in its design.

Restoration, protection and maintenance of this valuable monument, observing all international standards on historical places, has duly begun and is continuing by The Nasir Al-Molk Endowment Foundation. This foundation is one of the biggest in Fars Province and is under the administration of Mr. Mahmood Ghavam. The foundation totaly devotes most of its yearly income towards feeding for the poor during and after the religious ceremonies of Muharram and Safar, and towards the renovation and up-keep of this precious mosque.

ame Mosque of Isfahan in IranThe Jameh Mosque of Isfahan is a historical mosque in Iran. This is one of the oldest mosques in Iran. It was constructed and renovated around 771 to the end of the 20th century. This mosque is different because of its it was built in the four-iwan architectural; four gates are placed face to face. It has two brick domed chambers. The south dome was built by Nizam al-Mulk in 1086-87 and his rival Taj al-Mulk built the north dome a year later.

Construction under the Seljuqs included the addition of two brick domed chambers, for which the mosque is renowned. The south dome was built to house the mihrab in 1086–87 by Nizam al-Mulk, the famous vizier of Malik Shah, and was larger than any dome known at its time. The north dome was constructed by Nizam al-Mulk's rival Taj al-Mulk. The function of this domed chamber is uncertain. it was situated along the north-south axis, and located outside the boundaries of the mosque.

The dome was certainly built as a direct riposte to the earlier south dome, and successfully so, The mosque place as a masterpiece in Persian architecture for its structural clarity and geometric balance. Iwans were also added in stages under the Seljuqs, giving the mosque its current four-iwan form, a type which subsequently became prevalent in Iran and the rest of the Islamic world
